˜ "I decided I wanted to go to law school to be an entertainment lawyer. The whole path was entertainment law. I interned for MTV and Lucasfilm and then I graduated and passed the Bar exam on the first try and got a job down here in L.A. It's what I thought I wanted. It's what I was bee-lining for, but at the end of the day I wasn't happy. The work wasn't fulfilling to me and it was a lot less than what I had imagined it to be. My work life balance was awful. It was crazy in terms of hours. We would have to stay and have all nighters multiple times a month. I wasn't sleeping and I wasn't doing the things that I loved, which was going out to eat. After a four day all nighter, an associate and I decided to resign. I thought that maybe it was the firm, but it was a that I wasn't in love with the law anymore. I don't know if I ever was. So I started my blog and it was the hardest decision I ever made." ˜
˜ "I wake up every morning thinking, 'Is this really my life?' Today I'm going to this restaurant and that restaurant and this event and meeting this person. First of all, I love meeting new people. Food is all around the experience and meals are shared so it's a great way to meet new people. It's crazy that this has been something that I've wanted for so long and I didn't know exactly how it would play out because social media is such a new thing. Instagram is still new and I never would have imagined I would be doing all this through Instagram, like going to the restaurants, taking photos, and eating food. I feel blessed every day to be doing what I'm doing and to have these opportunities." ˜
